2016 Foscused Stock Trader Portfolio Performance Results
In the first three quarters of 2016, FST’s top twenty recommendations had an average return to high price of 153.7%, illustrating the number of high quality ideas provided during the year. EXEL generated the highest return in the first half with a 228.0% return. AMD was the second best recommendation with a return of 227.9%. Five recommendations generated over 200% return while 18 trades appreciated by more than 100%.
FST’s Top ten trades are illustrated above. The average return of the top ten trades was 61.6% with EDIT generating the highest return at 114.3%.
In the first nine months of 2016, FST’s Swing Trades portfolio had 469 swing trades generating $355,637 in profits on an initial investment of $300,000 for a total return of 118.5%. Of the 469 trades, 232 were correct for a 49.4% win ratio. The average return on each trade was 2.54% with an average holding period of 5.5 days.
In the first nine months of 2016, FST’s Short Sale portfolio had 18 trades generating a total profit of $5,319. Of the 18 recommendations, 11 trades were correct for a 61.1% win ratio. The average return on each trade was 1.9% with an average holding period of 0.61 days.
In the FST LT Portfolio, there were 45 recommendations generating a gain of $10,756 for a total return of 10.8%. Of the 45 recommendations, 22 were correct for a 48.9% win ratio. The average return on each recommendation was 2.8% with an average holding period of 27.56 days.
